We warmly invite members to volunteer and be a part of our activities. It is a great way to meet new people, share ideas, and have fun. If you are interested in becoming more involved, please contact Info@InternationalClubDC.com and let us know how you would like to be involved. Here are some of the ways in which you can be more involved with the organization.

• Planning events and event ideas (outdoor, social, cultural, educational, etc.,)
• Volunteer and community service events
• Photography/Taking photographs at events
• Volunteering to help check-in at events
• Proofreading and helping with event descriptions, newsletters, and marketing
• Helping with graphics and maintaining the ICDC Web site

Volunteering is a rewarding way to be a part of the ICDC community. Volunteers are needed for virtually all the events we organize. Typically volunteers get free admission to events they volunteer to help out. Volunteers also receive other special benefits commensurate with the level of support and involvement within the organization.

One of the aspects that make ICDC different from other social organizations in Washington DC is our commitment to serving the community and contributing to charitable causes. We organize about one event each month to support a charity. We generally prefer to support charitable organizations that are:

• Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
• Serve to provide of nutrition, health care, education, and other basic human needs
• Have no political, racial or religious affiliation and serve those in need without prejudice or stipulations

In addition to supporting charitable causes ICDC members take part in community service projects. If you are involved with a community service organization in Washington DC we would love to explore how ICDC can work together with you to help our community.
