We learned how to rollerblade during an afternoon of rollerblading at Rock Creek Park. The session was useful for beginners as well as more advanced skaters since we separated the class into sections based on previous experience. We all benefited from the safety and experience of an instructor with over 20 years experience on roller skates and 8 years experience as a certified instructor through the International Inline Skating Association. We concluded the afternoon with a relaxing picnic lunch at Rock Creek park while enjoying the company of ICDC members who attended the event.
